About the role
Anaqua is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to own quality strategy for its Platform & Microservices team, building robust, scalable test automation that gives the team confidence to ship fast. You'll design test frameworks from the ground up, automating across UI, API, and performance layers.
What you'll do
Own the quality strategy for the Platform & Microservices team
Design test automation frameworks from the ground up, automating across UI, API, and performance
Build and maintain CI/CD-integrated automated test suites
Drive test data management and parallel execution strategies
Partner with engineering to give the team confidence to ship fast without regressions
What we're looking for
5 - 7+ years of relevant experience
Strong hands-on experience with API test automation - Rest Assured, Postman, Playwright, Cypress
Experience with performance testing tools - Gatling, JMeter, k6
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python for test scripting
Experience with Docker, Git, and GitLab CI for test infrastructure and CI/CD integration
Understanding of framework architecture and test design patterns
Nice to have
Experience with AI-assisted test generationFamiliarity with contract testing, gRPC testing, and event-driven testingExperience with visual regression and cross-browser testing
