About the role

Drip Capital is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, deploy, and maintain microservices that provide time-sensitive capital to customers worldwide. You'll collaborate closely with product managers to define technical solutions, develop risk modules that adapt to individual and market variations, and build workflow automation across the trade finance platform.

Debug issues across services and multiple levels of the technology stack

What we're looking for

3++ years of relevant experience

3+ years of relevant experience building low-latency, distributed systems that are scalable and reliable

Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, or C/C++

Experience with at least one MVC framework, such as Ruby on Rails, Spring, or CodeIgniter

Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), with strong SQL, indexing, and schema design skills

Experience designing and building APIs, including RESTful APIs or GraphQL, with authentication and versioning best practices

Nice to have

Prior experience with Ruby on Rails
