About the role

FrontPage is hiring a Software Engineering Intern to work across a live financial markets community platform with ~1.5 lakh daily active users, spanning backend APIs, mobile and web product features, real-time systems, and AI-powered product capabilities. You'll work directly with the people making technical calls, on a stable, revenue-backed platform now increasing its build pace.

What you'll do

Work across backend APIs and services, Android/iOS/web product features, or databases and real-time systems depending on strengths

Contribute to AI-powered product capabilities and developer tooling

Work on new product experiments used by thousands of users

Reason through unfamiliar systems and unfamiliar code independently

Work directly with the founder and technical leadership making product and architecture decisions

What we're looking for

0+ years of relevant experience

Genuine enjoyment of engineering, evidenced by side projects, hackathons, or open source work

Already AI-native - building with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar, with real judgment about when and how to use AI

Ability to reason through unfamiliar systems independently - understand, investigate, hypothesize, build, test, improve

Strong fundamentals - data structures, APIs, databases, Git, debugging, and at least one language known deeply

Final-year student or recent graduate
