About the role
HighLevel is hiring a Principal Product Manager to define and lead its Voice AI platform - intelligent phone agents that answer calls, hold natural conversations, qualify leads, book appointments, and transfer to humans when needed. This senior IC role owns the long-term strategy, telephony architecture, and evaluation system required to make Voice AI dependable across millions of real-world phone conversations.
What you'll do
Define and drive the long-term vision, strategy, and platform architecture for Voice AI
Own the complete Voice AI lifecycle - agent creation, voice/model selection, routing, and billing
Personally review real call recordings, transcripts, and failed calls to find quality gaps
Partner with engineering on streaming architecture, speech-to-text, and turn detection
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Trust on consent, recording, and outbound calling rules
What we're looking for
12++ years of relevant experience
12+ years of product management experience owning complex B2B SaaS, Voice AI, CRM, or telephony products
Prior experience as a Principal PM, Staff PM, Lead PM, or equivalent senior IC on a business-critical product
Experience building or operating production AI-agent systems interacting with real customers
Technical fluency across speech-to-text, text-to-speech, streaming audio, and LLM orchestration
Strong systems thinking connecting phone infrastructure, AI models, CRM data, and compliance
Nice to have
Experience with voice/AI platforms - Twilio, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, Amazon Connect, GenesysExperience with PSTN, SIP, WebRTC, IVR, and call routingExperience supporting multilingual speech recognition and voice cloning
