About the role
HighLevel is hiring a Senior FullStack Engineer to join its Users Module team, designing and building scalable, secure user management systems - authentication, authorization, and complex permission hierarchies across a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving millions of users.
What you'll do
Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs for user management and authentication
Design scalable multi-tenant user data models and schemas
Implement OAuth, JWT, and secure session management
Design and implement IAM v2 systems with RBAC and granular permissions
Build features like user impersonation, delegation, and permission templates
Ensure GDPR compliance and build audit trails for user actions
What we're looking for
4++ years of relevant experience
4+ years in backend engineering, preferably building user management systems
Proven work on authentication/authorization and IAM systems
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and enterprise user workflows and permissions
Strong TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js skills
Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and session management
Familiarity with MongoDB, Firestore, and SQL databases
Nice to have
Experience with Elasticsearch or Clickhouse for advanced searchFamiliarity with Google Cloud Platform and Pub/Sub messaging
