About the role

Lexsi Labs is hiring AI Agent Interns to work on high-impact agentic AI problems across applied, research, and product directions - not a narrow internship focused on building small internal bots. You'll explore open-ended agentic AI problems, converting promising ideas into working prototypes, evaluations, and research artifacts, with strong performers considered for a full-time role from the 5th month onward.

What you'll do

Explore open-ended agentic AI problems and convert promising ideas into working prototypes and product capabilities

Build applied agents, design evaluations, and create testing harnesses for agent systems

Experiment with planning and memory architectures, analyzing failure modes to improve reliability

Contribute to systems where transparency, auditability, and controllability are first-class requirements

Work full-time from the Mumbai office, with strong performers considered for full-time conversion from month 5

What we're looking for

0+ years of relevant experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

Genuine interest in agentic AI - planning and memory architectures, evaluation harnesses, or applied agent-building

Strong coding fundamentals with a focus on writing quality, well-structured code

Ability to work independently on open-ended, ambiguous problems and turn them into concrete outcomes

Comfort working in a fast-moving, research-driven, highly hands-on environment
