About the role
Lytx is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to be the primary subject matter expert for maintaining all cloud network infrastructure using AI, automation, and Infrastructure as Code. You'll work closely with architects, cloud engineers, application teams, and security, with regular collaboration and overlap with US Pacific business hours.
What you'll do
Design, implement, and maintain complex AWS network architectures for Lytx's cloud infrastructure
Architect and deploy secure, scalable, highly available network solutions using AWS services
Optimize network performance, security, and connectivity across multi-account and multi-region AWS environments
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for network resources, primarily using Terraform
Collaborate with security teams on network security controls and compliance requirements
What we're looking for
6++ years of relevant experience
6+ years of network/infrastructure engineering experience supporting 24x7x365 production environments, including 3+ years in large enterprise IT
3+ years deploying AWS infrastructure with Terraform
Deep AWS network infrastructure experience - VPC, Transit Gateway, Elastic Load Balancing, Route 53, WAF/Shield
Demonstrated network architecture and segmentation expertise
Experience with logging and telemetry platforms (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, or HoneyComb)
Nice to have
CCNP certificationPython and Bash for automationExperience with AWS CloudFormationExperience with Cloudflare services (WAF, Zero Trust, DDoS, CDN)
