About the role

Meesho is hiring a Design Manager to lead a team of designers solving unique, mostly-untouched e-commerce problems for tier-2+ India. You'll strategize and drive design solutions across the product, collaborating closely with Research, Product, Business, Data, and Engineering, while mentoring designers and building a deep understanding of Meesho's users.

What you'll do

Design and validate new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, and UX artifacts

Lead a team of designers, ensuring product success and designers' growth

Conduct usability testing and use qualitative/quantitative data to drive decisions

Individually contribute to design decisions and mentor senior and junior designers

Collaborate with research, product, business, and engineering to build scalable solutions

What we're looking for

9 - 13++ years of relevant experience

9-13+ years of strong design experience in a product company

Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design skills, curiosity, empathy, and business acumen

Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management

Experience leading a project or vertical with multiple designers

Ability to incorporate feedback and think about how the UI will scale

Nice to have

Experience with product startups and fast-paced environmentsExperience managing designers directly
