About the role

Meesho is hiring a Data Scientist to develop models and run experiments that turn scattered data into actionable insight across fraud detection, inventory optimization, and platform vernacularisation. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand reseller and customer preferences and help suppliers meet their SLA requirements.

What you'll do

Develop models and run experiments to infer insights from data

Improve product usability and identify new growth opportunities

Design discount programs to help resellers sell more

Use data to identify bottlenecks affecting supplier SLA requirements

Model seasonal demand to predict key organisational metrics

What we're looking for

4 - 7+ years of relevant experience

Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or a related field

4-7 years of experience as a Data Scientist in a fast-paced organization, preferably B2C

Familiarity with Neural Networks and Machine Learning

Strong understanding of Statistics, Linear Algebra, and hypothesis/model testing

Experience designing and running A/B tests and drawing insights from them

Proficiency in SQL, R, and Python

Nice to have

Experience working on personalization or other ML problemsFamiliarity with big data tech stacks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Redshift
