About the role

SigNoz is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to work with the Pulse team building features around its alerting module, ensuring reliability when there are thousands of alerts running simultaneously. You'll design and implement APIs, services, and core backend components in Go, building the future of alerts at SigNoz.

What you'll do

Build alert features with robustness and scalability in mind

Build integrations with tools like JIRA and incident.io

Design and implement APIs, services, and core backend components in Go

Ensure reliability of the alerting module when thousands of alerts are running

What we're looking for

5++ years of relevant experience

Expert-level Go (Golang) development experience

Experience building reliable, scalable backend systems handling high-volume, real-time workloads

Ability to design and implement APIs, services, and core backend components independently

Comfort building integrations with third-party tools (e.g., JIRA, incident.io)
