About the role
Cleo is hiring a Lead Product Designer to own the financial relationship users have with Cleo - from budgeting and insights to product-specific flows across the app. You'll lead design for your squad, directly manage one to three designers, and work closely with developers, UX writers, and product managers to ship a polished, cohesive product and chat experience.
What you'll do
Design and own the financial relationship a user has with Cleo, across budgeting, insights, and product-specific flows
Look across all Cleo products for opportunities to deepen the user's financial relationship with the app
Lead design for your squad and directly manage one to three designers
Create clarity and alignment within the squad through journeys, wireframes, and prototypes
Execute designs in polished UI in close collaboration with developers and UX writers
What we're looking for
5++ years of relevant experience
Strong portfolio of mobile app design work showing high-quality execution in high-growth, product-led businesses
Experience leading design for a squad and directly managing designers
Ability to inform designs with both qualitative and data-driven insights on user needs and pain points
Comfort creating clarity and alignment on proposed solutions through journeys, wireframes, and prototypes
Strong collaboration skills working closely with developers, UX writers, and product managers
Nice to have
Experience designing for conversational or chat-based product experiencesBackground working within an open, transparent career progression framework
